Keyano Huskies announce schedule for 2024 Junior Huskies Volleyball Camps

The Keyano Huskies Men's and Women's Volleyball teams are pleased to announce the return of Junior Huskies Volleyball Camps in 2024. The camps provide an excellent opportunity for youth in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo to interact and learn from Keyano Huskies coaches and student-athletes while sharpening their volleyball skills for the upcoming high school and club volleyball seasons. 

June/July Camp 

The Men's Volleyball Huskies are hosting a camp on six Sundays in June and July for boys and girls aged 15-17. The skills will be taught in a co-ed atmosphere with members of the Men's Volleyball Huskies on hand to instruct and lead camp attendees. Be sure to bring a water bottle, indoor shoes, and athletic wear.  

Camp dates: June 2, 9, 23, 30, July 7, 14 
Cost: $300 
Ages: 15-17 (Co-ed play) 
Time: 12:00-1:30pm

August High Performance Camp

Gain the competitive edge before high school tryouts in the fall with week-long instruction from Keyano Huskies Volleyball Coaches and student-athletes. Bring indoor shoes,, a healthy snack and a water bottle!  

This camp is perfect for anyone hoping to make their school volleyball team. Additionally, out of town/surrounding area athletes are welcome to attend.  

Volleyball fundamentals: 
Monday - Ball Control  
Tuesday - Attacking 
Wednesday - Defense/Blocking 
Thursday - Game Play 

Camp dates: August 19-22 
Hours: 5-7pm (Girls), 7-9pm (Boys) 
Ages: The Junior Huskies Volleyball Prep Camp is open to male and female student-athletes of all levels from Grades 9 through 12 
Cost: $200/person

The Huskies are welcoming back students from across the region for another camp open to high school-aged student-athletes in our region. The camp is run by Huskies coaches & athletes, providing great mentorship opportunities for both sides. Huskies Athletes will be running drills and participating at times giving youth athletes a chance to play alongside college athletes. Bring indoor shoes, healthy snack and water bottle!
